About the Role
Montecito Bank & Trust is offering a paid part-time Data Development Engineering Internship in our Technology Department. As a Data Development Engineering Intern, you will deliver a World Class Experience by supporting our Technology department. This intern will work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with other partners as needed. You will be located in Goleta, CA with an on-site work schedule.
What We’re Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of College/University coursework preferred; most relevant coursework would include technology or business information systems.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to build and maintain database queries, stored procedures, and data pipeline scripts preferred.
Your Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Enterprise Data, the intern will provide support for the following projects:
- Data ingestion.
- Data transformation.Â
- Data queries and other SQL objects.
Internship Schedule
- The internship program will run from May/June 2026 through August/September 2026 (flexible depending on school schedule or other job obligations).
- The position will be on-site up to 24 hours per week for up to 12 weeks.Â

The hourly rate for this position is $18.00.
