  • Exceptional communication and sales skills
  • Strong understanding of QIS strategies
  • Deep knowledge of the US Annuity market (FIA, RILA, VA)
  • Introductory knowledge of regulatory and accounting regimes in the US
  • Detailed knowledge of insurance company hedge programs
  • Role requires high operational efficiency and extreme attention to detail
  • Can work in high pressure environment
  • Superior people skills to ensure constructive dialogue and positive cooperation, both internally with product lines, and externally with clients
  • Deal-driven and highly energetic professional
  • Knowledge of Structured Products and/or FX & Rates Derivatives is a strong plus
  • Experience and understanding of EQD options and exotic instruments
  • Experience marketing QIS strategies
  • Senior salestrading experience of EQD options
  • Must have covered US insurance companies

This is a six-month program with the potential to be hired full time.

Societe Generale’s Career Arc Returnship program is designed to give professionals like you a chance to re-enter the workforce and refresh and sharpen skills through a 6-month paid internship.  During the internship you will be given the opportunity to perform meaningful work in a supportive environment while reacclimating to the banking world.  We value a variety of backgrounds and levels of talent and are looking for individuals with previous equity sales and trading experience in areas including prime services, program trading, research sales, equity derivatives sales, equity derivatives trading, derivatives structuring, quantitative strategies, and derivatives strategy.

  • The role is a high-client-touch role that requires good communication skills to build relationships and trust with our clients
  • Manage coverage of all US insurance companies, ensuring that other cross-asset teams are also introduced to these relationships across Global Markets (50+ clients)
  • Responsible for managing and implementing day-to-day execution of equity derivatives and light exotic options
  • Train and manage junior personnel within the team
  • Work with internal trading, strategy and engineering teams to generate new trade ideas to proactively pitch to clients
  • Entertain clients and proactively setup meetings with to develop deeper relationships, deliver content, and introduce SG’s cross-asset capabilities
  • Develop strong knowledge of SG’s Proprietary Index Suite and pitch QIS strategies to our insurance clients
  • Have expertise of our FIA index offerings in order to submit FIA proposals to clients and manage post-launch educational support
  • Interact with internal trading and engineering teams to price vanilla and light exotic products and facilitate client trade inquiries
  • Manage all post-trade operations and coordinate with middle office, back office, and documentations teams for bookings
  • Work with automation, engineering, operations and COO teams to continuously identify issues and improve processes
  • Responsible for client onboarding and KYC processes
  • Be up to date on insurance market and accounting principles
