Accounting - Intern

POSITION SUMMARY: The Accounting Internship is a 12-week program based in our Barrington, IL office. The Internship offers exposure to the following aspects of the Corporate Accounting functions.    CORPORATE ACCOUNTING: Internal controls Accounts payable and Accounts Receivable Cash Fixed Assets Monthly close process General ledger account analysis Financial statements Provide accounting and administrative support as needed             POSITION BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS: College student currently pursuing a business or accounting degree. Must be able to multi-task Must be able to work individually and with a team Efficient written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills Knowledge of Excel   CULTURE AND OPERATIONS: Ownership of the Pepper mission. Bias for action; strong initiative and solutions-oriented working style.   The salary range for this position is $20-$23/hour, based on graduation date.
