LOCATION & DURATION
All internships will be based in our South San Francisco, CA and will be in-person minimum 4 days a week in the office. This internship starts in late June 2025 for approximately 10-12 weeks. This is a temporary role working up to 40 hours per week and the hourly rate is $35/hour.
POSITION SUMMARY
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented intern to join data management team. This intern will learn about the development of EDC system, the study documents per protocol requirement. In addition, the associate will also learn to conduct the data review following the instructions from the study lead data manager on the study assigned.
Our interns will assist with the daily operations in each of their specific departments assigned to and gain exposure, including but not limited to:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review the CRF and database specification to make sure the design matches the protocol requirements
- Help generate and review the edit check specification
- Support the sponsor UAT to make sure the validation on the key data points are complete and accurate
- Contribute to the study documentation and metrics
- Assist in the data management oversight data cleaning activities per the instruction from the study lead data manager on the study assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Active undergraduate student with interests in clinical data management.
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program with plans to return to school in the fall.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.
- All applicants must be at least 18 years of age by June 1, 2026.
Final Presentation
- Each Intern is expected to prepare a short presentation to share what they have learned through their internship and how they hope their new knowledge will help them secure their future career. Presentations may be approximately 10-15 minutes long and should include visual aid (posters or PowerPoint).
Travel
The target hourly rate for this intern role is $35.00 an hour. Structure Therapeutics determines salary ranges based on level and scope of responsibilities, as well as location. Individual pay is further determined by additional factors, including relevant experience, specific job skills, education and training. Students will be on their own for housing, benefits, transportation, etc., and need to provide adequate work authorization to work for any US employer through the duration of the program.
