Your role:
Interested in working in finance, specifically with private clients across Switzerland, but not sure where to start? Do you want to work for a firm with a truly global footprint?
We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Off-cycle Internship within our Personal & Corporate Banking, Products Channels & Marketing business in Switzerland.
You’ll get to:
• contribute to Conversation Analytics such as topic identification, sentiment analysis, and summarization of client conversations
• help extend Conversation Analytics to further client channels such as feedback forms or contact notes for advisory and contact center use cases
• participate in fine-tuning models using OpenAI Whisper and UBS-specific datasets to improve transcription quality and relevance

Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
• will graduate from the MBA-HSG program in late 2026 (ideally brings a STEM background)
• has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills
• is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadlines
• has excellent English skills, German is a plus
• has strong interest in Speech Analytics, Natural Language Processing, or AI in financial services
• has experience with Python or similar tools for model evaluation and data handling
• is familiar with STT technologies (e.g., Whisper, Google STT, Azure STT) - is a plus)
• has ability to work independently and collaborate across business and tech teams

This paid internship will last 3 months. You’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day-to-day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
You’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop new skills and make contacts along the way. If you like challenges, enjoy learning and want to work where no two days are the same, this program is for you.
